Wye Oak - “The Tower” (Official Video)

“The Tower” was our first sample of Wye Oak’s new guitar-free sound, and now it’s also the first video from the Baltimore duo’s forthcoming Shriek. Although the song’s bounding lope is tinged with melancholy, the video is pure whimsy. Ben O’Brien’s clip finds a crew of painters getting all Mary Poppins on us in the midst of urban blight.
