Caroline Polachek is best known as Chairlift’s frontwoman, but she’s
also been making music on the side under the moniker Ramona Lisa since
last year. Her self-produced debut album Arcadia is a placid
collection of MIDI-composed songs that Polachek labeled “pastoral
electronic music.” Today, Terrible Records released the Piano Versions EP, which features three songs from Arcadia that have been re-worked using only a piano. Listen to a new version of “Walking In The Cemetery” and watch a video for the Arcadia track “I Love Our World” below.
"Poets, like the blind, can see in the dark." Jorge Luis Borges
A little homage to the Argentinian poet Jorge Luis Borges, one of the greatest writers of all time. This video was shot in the winter of 2010 in Buenos Aires and Capilla del Señor, Argentina.
Directed and shot by me with a Canon 5d. I edited and color graded it in Final Cut Pro using Twixtor, Knoll Light Factory and Magic Bullet.
