Big Grams - “Fell In The Sun” (Official Video)

Big Grams — the collaboration between Big Boi and Phantogram — have shared a video for their lead single “Fell In The Sun” from their eponymous debut EP. It features the three members of the group dancing against a sparkly, blurry background intercut by some sun-spotted, circular visuals. According to the press release, the interstitials are supposed to emulate what happens when you stare at the sun for too long, tying back to the name of the track. Hannah Diamond - “Hi” (Official Video)

Reigning PC Music pop princess Hannah Diamond just debuted a new track called “Hi” with an appropriately glossy music video. It starts off with Diamond looking longingly out of her bedroom window, autographing her own name and dreaming of fame. She takes selfies and broadcasts cam footage of herself. Suddenly, she’s in a photo shoot and facing the bright lights and cameras of celebrity. “I don’t wanna be alone in my bedroom writing messages you won’t read,” her characteristically dreamy vocals go. “I don’t wanna be alone in my bedroom on the internet, waiting to say … hi.” Did Diamond just snatch the crown away from Adele for this year’s best pop song named after a greeting? Maybe, maybe not, but this is real good — check it out it via i-D below.

Pink Lung (White Lung x Pink Mountaintops) - “Chinese Watermelon” (Official Video)

Happy Halloween! White Lung and Pink Mountaintops have joined forces — as “Pink Lung” — for “Chinese Watermelon,” a new song that will appear on Converse’s forthcoming CONS EP Vol. 3. They’ve also shared a wild, holiday-appropriate video that opens with a gold-painted Stephen McBean emerging from Mish Way’s torso and only gets weirder and goofier from there. There are mimes, cowboys, witches, and a lot of green-screened flying involved. Justin Gradin and Ben Jacques, who previously helmed White Lung’s “In Your Home” video, direct, and you can watch.

Travi$ Scott - “Piss On Your Grave” (Feat. Kanye West) Video

Travi$ Scott has shared the video for his Kanye West Rodeo collaboration “Piss On Your Grave.” The clip was directed by the legendary Nabil, who knows how to make the most out of anything, and he makes the two of them wrapping in the woods seem like the one of the most interesting things ever. “JUST IN TIME FOR HALLOWEEN, HERE’S THAT VIDEO FOR PISS ON YOUR GRAVE WITH ME N YE TO GET THE WEEKEND VIBES GOIN RIGHT,” Scott announced on his Apple Music Connect page, complete with a jack-o-lantern emoji. Everyone’s in the Halloween spirit!

Elohim - "Xanax" (Official Music Video)

“Anxiety. I have anxiety,” are the first words that introduce Elohim’s new music video for “Xanax,” and if there was a way to visually capture the sensations that revolve around that experience, it’s this. The LA-based electro-pop musician dabbles with catchy verses and tripped-out synths — we’ve also posted about her “She Talks Too Much” and its remix — and the accompanying video is in-sync with her illusory, otherworldly style. Directed by Chase O’Black, the clip is a hallucinogen-soaked acid dream that knocks on the realms of psychedelia, the distorted imagery a visual rollercoaster for all of your senses.

GEMS - “Soak” Video (NSFW)

Washington D.C. pop duo GEMS are releasing their debut album, Kill The One You Love, today, and they’re celebrating by sharing a video for one of their singles, “Soak.” It’s an intimate — like, NSFW intimate — look at the close relationship between two people, filled with artfully shot bodies and views of the ocean. It was filmed on location in Argentina by Wacho, and stars Mia Flores Piran and Francisco Arias.

Calexico - “Bullets & Rocks” (Official Video)

Prolific spaghetti western rock hybrid Calexico put out their ninth LP, Edge of the Sun, earlier this year, and subsequently shared a bizarre video for “Falling From The Sky” featuring José Gonzales babysitting a bulbous, fleshy thing. The Tucson collective are back with another clip for Edge of the Sun highlight “Bullets & Rocks,” but have toned down the weirdness a smidgen. Following the anthropomorphic imagery of their last video, director Aaron Hymes developed a computer-animated dream sequence of humanlike figures coalescing into vast, canyon landscapes.

Future - “Stick Talk” (Official Video)

Future released his dark, incredible new album DS2 just a few months ago, but since then, he’s already released another Big Event full-length project, the Drake collab mixtape What A Time To Be Alive. But he’s still cranking out videos for DS2 tracks, and today, as NME points out, he’s released visuals for “Stick Talk.” Directed by Eif Rivera, the clip shows Future rapping by a run-down house, in an abandoned parking garage, and on a crowded street with the Haitian flag draped over him.

Freddie Gibbs - "Fuckin' Up The Count" (Official)

The great Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs continues to crank out virtuosic, unflinching gangsta rap at an impressive pace, and he’s just announced that he’ll follow up this summer’s three-song Pronto EP with a new album called Shadow Of A Doubt next month, as Pitchfork reports. New new LP features appearances from people like E-40, Gucci Mane, and the Roots’ Black Thought. Its lead single, “Fuckin’ Up The Count,” has a dazed and twinkly beat from Frank Dukes and frequent Drake collaborator Boi-1da. Its video, from director Jonah Schwartz, tells a tragic story about kids in over their head selling drugs.

Tricot - “Pork Ginger” (Official Video)

Math rock can have an unusually high barrier to entry, and sometimes it can be so technical that it’s not really fun to listen to. It takes a certain level of focus to balance a melody alongside tricky time signatures, but Kyoto’s Tricot have built a pop identity through their cerebral compositional style. “Pork Ginger” is a sugar rush, and the song’s accompanying video is a fitting and fun visual accompaniment.

Coliseum - “Comedown” (Official Video)

Louisville post-hardcore heavy-hitters Coliseum released their latest album, Anxiety’s Kiss, back in May and we’ve already seen videos for a few of the songs (one of which starred Will Oldham). The band tends to favor a grainy, spooky aesthetic and the clip for “Comedown” is no different. This is a tale told in two parts that ends in bloodshed. Watch below via Under The Radar.

Beliefs - “Leaper” (Official Video)

Toronto shoegazers Beliefs are back with another dark-tinged track from their upcoming album Leaper. We already saw the lo-fi visuals for “1992,” and now the title track gets a video too. “Leaper” is the best kind of Sonic Youth worship, a propulsive midnight rocker accented by ominous whispers and gorgeous noise. It’s well complemented by director Adam Leon’s clip, which merges bright performance footage with dark, dreary nightlife scenes.

Lawrence Rothman - “Oz Vs. Eden” (With Charli XCX) Video

The last we heard from Los Angeles weird auteur Lawrence Rothman, he was “California Paranoia” with Angel Olsen. As with that song, new single “Oz Vs. Eden” is nothing to write home about musically speaking — some ghoulish rock with demonic chants that’s apropos for the season, with Charli XCX providing some “na na”s and backing vocals — but the visuals are impeccable. Once again, Rothman worked with Floria Sigismondi on this one, and it’s set in a haunted house filled with all kinds of unspeakable, excessively creepy horrors. Rothman plays one of his alters, Kevin, and there’s also a pair of creepy siblings, a veiled old man, a gold-plated angel, and more.

EL VY - “Silent Ivy Hotel” (Official Video)

EL VY — the collaboration between the National’s Matt Berninger and Menomena/Ramona Falls’ Brent Knopf — are releasing their debut album together, Return To The Moon, tomorrow. In a rare surprise in this day and age, the whole record is not streaming in advance, but the duo did share one new track for everyone that hasn’t heard it yet: It’s called “Silent Ivy Hotel,” and follows the long string of singles that included “Return To The Moon,” “I’m The Man To Be,” “No Time To Crank The Sun,” “Paul Is Alive,” and “Need A Friend.” Phew! They debuted “Silent Ivy Hotel” accompanied by a spooky, Halloween-appropriate lyric video.

Kendrick Lamar - “These Walls” (Feat. Bilal, Anna Wise, & Thundercat) Video

Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly is one of the year’s best albums, and it’s also been responsible for producing some of the year’s best videos: “Alright,” “King Kunta,” “For Free?” And now there’s another one, a perfectly ridiculous visualization of the languid Bilal/Anna Wise/Thundercat collab “These Walls.” The video stretches it out to eight minutes and tells a story about a wild apartment-house party, an unfortunate arrest, and a freak session so heavy that it literally breaks a huge Kendrick-sized hole in a wall. There’s also a talent show interlude with Kendrick and the actor Terry Crews dancing to iHeartMemphis’ “Hit The Quan.” Colin Tilley and the Little Homies directed the video, and it’s one of the dizziest, weirdest visions you’ll see anytime soon.
