UK duo AlunaGeorge have offered up an extra spine-tingly new song, titled "Watching Over You", for a compilation put together by BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac. Brendan Canty (not the one from Fugazi) also created a very abstract video to go along with the track, filled with gently glitchy imagery and brief flashes of Nintendo games.

Menomena – “Plumage”

Menomena’s new clip features a long-developing bandmate standoff that comes complete with dozens of costume changes. The description on YouTube reads “Menomena share their various forms of plumage,” which I totally hadn’t put together! Now it all — and by that I mean everything — makes sense. Killer Mike – “Reagan”

New video directed by Daniel Garcia and Harry Teitelman for Killer Mike’s ‘Reagan’ is a nice primer ahead of tonight’s presidential debate.

“Reagan” was the track on Killer Mike’s excellent El-P-produced album R.A.P. Music where Mike vented furious spleen at targets that included the last five presidents and Mike himself. The song now has an animated video that plays like a political paranoiac’s ecstatic fantasy, complete with giant killer robot and an Illuminati pyramid that, at one point, starts rapping.

Cartoon Network 20th Birthday Music Video

Our friends at Cartoon Network got in touch earlier in the year to ask us to work with them on a music video for their 20th Birthday celebrations. Needless to say we jumped at the chance and we started work on an epic 2 minute long video featuring original music from Mad Decent and nearly every character Cartoon Network has aired over the past 20 years.

The video finally premiered on the 1st of October and will appear on Cartoon Network throughout the month of October and is also available for download through iTunes and Amazon (for free!) as well as being on CN's youtube channel.

Tears of Steel - Blender Foundation's fourth short Open Movie

"Tears of Steel" was realized with crowd-funding by users of the open source 3D creation tool Blender. Target was to improve and test a complete open and free pipeline for visual effects in film - and to make a compelling sci-fi film in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Miguel - Do You...

Music video by Miguel performing Do You.... , vaguely bluesy drugs-as-sex ballad “Do You…” (final punchline: “I’m gonna do you like drugs tonight”). In the clip, from amazingly named director Constellation Jones, Miguel and a ladyfriend leave Las Vegas in a muscle car so that they can sexily pose against the Nevada desert. This seems like a pretty good thing to do if you’re ever in Las Vegas.

Nas - Cherry Wine (Explicit) ft. Amy Winehouse

Here's the video for Nas' "Cherry Wine" from Life Is Good, one of his posthumous collaboration tracks with the late Amy Winehouse. Directed by Jay Martin, it features Nas tending a vintage bar, making eyes with a woman who's possibly meant to play Winehouse. Meanwhile, a video of the real Winehouse is projected on a brick wall of the bar.

Watch Sufjan Stevens' Stop-Motion Lego Video for Christmas Song

After teasing a new Christmas album (which may or may not feature Kitty Pryde), Sufjan Stevens has posted a stop-motion Lego video on his website with a Christmas song. The video was made back in 2007 but posted on YouTube earlier today. The main lyrics are "I am Santa's helper," and, "You are Santa's slave."

This isn't Stevens' first stop-motion video-- he animated the video for "Get Real Get Right" from The Age of Adz.

Solange Knowles – “Losing You”

It’s been some time since Solange Knowles has put new music out, but last night she debuted a song called “Losing You,” a vibrant pop track which she wrote with Dev Hynes (Blood Orange, Lightspeed Champion). The song’s accompanying video finds Beyoncé’s younger sis strutting in Cape Town. Melina Matsoukas directs.

Bat For Lashes – “All Your Gold”

In the sweeping, visually striking video for Bat For Lashes’ new single “All Your Gold,” we see Natasha Khan twitchily dancing her way across a beach. It’s done in glowing black-and-white, and Khan pretty much owns the camera the entire time. This is one of those cases where nothing much happens in the video, but it transfixes anyway. Noel Paul, who also did Bat For Lashes’ great “Laura” video, directs.

Here's the video for "One for the Record Books" from The Hood Internet ft. Shot on location in West Virginia with Seth, his cats, tattoos, fireworks, Wal-Mart, and even a beer under the bridge with a pretty girl. Here's what the band had to say:

"I would describe the "One For The Records Books" track as both warm and sad, both romantic and melancholy. I lived with the track, and some how ended up with this story in my head about a lonely dude, in a small town, struggling with individuality and romance in a world of internet dating and weekend long music festivals."

Directed by Jason Goldwatch, who has previously collaborated with Kid Cudi and Nas.
