Shura - “2Shy” (Official Video)

Shura have been quietly releasing some of the most intuitive, doe-eyed synth-R&B of the past year, and “2Shy” is their most excellent song to date. After seeing them perform at SXSW, I was even more struck by how easily the songs could transition from an intimate space like a church to the heat of the dancefloor. But in the video for “2Shy” frontwoman Alexandra Denton is, well, too shy to hit a club. Instead, she broods all alone on a beach, gazing off into the distance at an absent beloved.
