Janelle Monáe & Jidenna - “Yoga” (Official Video)

If you’ve seen Birdman, then the opening shot of Janelle Monáe and Jidenna’s new video will look somewhat familiar. Monáe hovers several feet off of the floor, her legs crossed in a full-lotus position. One can only assume that she’s achieved spiritual enlightenment seeing as how she’s, you know, levitating. “Yoga” is a spluttering dance track that boasts just enough new age-y references to be classified as unconventional, and it’ll be released on the Wondaland Arts Society compilation record Eephus.
