TOPS - “Driverless Passenger” (Official Video)

Last year, the Montreal quartere TOPS released Picture You Staring, an album of thoughtful, elegant pop music that quietly became one of our favorite LPs of the year. Today, they’ve blessed us with a truly trippy and unpredictable video for the spare and lovely “Driverless Passenger.” In the clip, South Park-looking animated versions of the band members escape a dying earth in their spaceship car. Nothing makes sense, but all of it has a certain vibe. Jason Harvey directed it.
