Now your motherfucking princess has gone and made this monstrosity of a video, following in the wake of her spiritual forebear Gwen Stefani by turning the Japanese into accessories, in doing so bidding “See ya later, boy” to what remains of the goodwill she built up with her excellent run of early singles. Why’d she have to go and make things so complicated? So much for her happy ending, et al.
