Kehlani - “The Way” (Feat. Chance The Rapper) Video

If you’ve listened to Surf, then you know that Chance The Rapper is an ideal collaborator; he only chooses the best of the best up-and-comers to work with and rarely overshadows them. Such is the case with “The Way,” a single off of the rising Oakland-based R&B singer Kehlani’s latest mixtape You Should Be Here. All of Kehlani’s work is subtly sensual, and all of her words sound like they come from someplace deep within her heart, always insightful but never forced. Chance is like that too, though he usually boasts a different tone, which makes this song a gorgeous example of two artists coalescing seamlessly to make a really lovely piece of music.
