Marilyn Manson’s video for “Third Day Of A Seven Day Binge” stands in stark contrast with the others we’ve seen for songs off of his most recent album, The Pale Emperor. Manson played a predatory worm in the video for “Deep Six” and a demon in the high-drama accompaniment to “The Mephistopheles Of Los Angeles,” but in this new work, Manson plays himself. He performs against a stark background and selected parts of his body are painted titanium. The lack of pageantry works.
