Lightning Bolt - “The Metal East” (Official Video)

Lightning Bolt have shared a wacky new video for their Fantasy Empire track “The Metal East.” Directed by artist Lale Westvind, it’s a wild ride through a spooky landscape featuring shapeshifting creatures, a lightning bolt emblazoned woman who stands in as a proxy for the vocalist, and a whole bunch of other weird shit. Appropriately enough, the clip debuted during Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim programming block last night, and it’s a perfect fit for their brand of off-kilter animation.
