Liverpool experimental pop trio Stealing Sheep make a dense,
topsy-turvy brand of bubblegum which belies their simplistic lyrics and
uncanny ability to implant them in your mental. The band dropped their
latest full-length, Not Real, just a few weeks ago, after sharing the title track and matching it with a set of visuals.
Now, the band shares a video for “Deadlock,” a tune which playfully
grapples with paralyzing self doubt and internal conflict. The Ewan
Jones Morris-directed flick is a weird one to say the least. Literal
interpretations with the band locked in a grid pattern (both as whole
entities and segmented body parts) are mixed with abstract psychoactives
for a disorienting experience.
