After coming home from his prison term, Meek Mill went fully back into active mode with a couple of furious freestyles a couple of weeks ago. The probation-violation bid he did last year messed up the plans for his Dreams Worth More Than Money,
but it looks like those album plans are back on. Meek’s got a new track
called “B Boy,” a dizzy and fun chorus-free posse cut that teams him up
with Big Sean and A$AP Ferg, thus making this a summit meeting of
mainstream rap’s most effective energy guys. The video, from director Spike Jordan,
is one of those great old-school rap pool-party videos, where everyone
is having fun in an expensive house and a few girls decide to reenact
the climax of Spring Breakers.
