When you listen to Protomartyr’s 2014 record Under Color Of Official Right (Stream) you probably don’t feel compelled to break into spontaneous interpretive dance, and if you do, then we have very little in common. It’s the kind of record that makes me want to somehow gracefully slam my head against a wall, pull back, and repeat, which is what makes the Detroit-based band’s video for “Want Remover” so delightful. “I’m free, free from fear,” Joe Casey sings as an assortment of adults glide around a ballet studio.
