The young London four-piece Evans The Death make a big, loud, feedbacky form of noise-pop that invites Sonic Youth or Jesus And Mary Chain comparisons. Their sophomore album Expect Delays is coming next month, and we premiered the early track “Don’t Laugh At My Angry Face.” Their new video for “Enabler” is a fast, cheap affair, with the band playing in a room full of flickering light. It’s the sort of harsh, grainy affair you might find on some ancient VHS compilation of underground rock videos. Danny Nellis directs.
