Statik Selektah - “Beautiful Life” (Feat. Action Bronson & Joey Bada$$) Video

For his single “Beautiful Life,” the boom-bap revivalist DJ and producer Statik Selektah rounded up a couple of recent-vintage New York heavyweights, Action Bronson and Joey Bada$$, to rap about how good they have it now. For the video, the three of them went to Croatia. They were already going there for the Fresh Life Festival, but director Slick Jackson captured them lounging on a yacht and riding four-wheelers. It looks like everyone involved had fun making this one, and there’s also a fascinating/disorienting letterboxing situation going on.
