Gabrielle Herbst, aka GABI, released her debut album earlier this year on Daniel Lopatin’s Mexican Summer imprint, Software. Sympathy is an experimental, operatic effort that almost solely depends on Herbst’s crystalline voice, with little additional instrumentation, and the album’s accompanying videos are similarly spare.
