Skrillex - “Doompy Poomp” (Official Video)

Skrillex has teamed up with French directors Fleur & Manu (they’ve previously collaborated extensively with M83, the National, Movement, etc.) to release a haywire, batshit video for “Doompy Poomp.” The track is off Skrillex’s latest album, Recess, and the visuals play off the classic Groundhog Day plot line of nightmarish repetition. It chronicles one mullet-sporting man’s attempt to get a bank loan, but soon devolves into quirky chaos, complete with nudity, machine guns and even a tuxedo.
