Mew - “Satellites” (Official Video)

The psychedelic Danish band Mew is about to return with ’+-’, their first new album in six years. First single “Satellites” is a grand, operatic song, and now it has a video to match. The new “Satellites” video is an entirely performance-based affair; it shows nothing but the band playing in an empty room. But the lighting, cinematography, and editing are enough to make these guys look majestic and larger-than-life. Given that this is the sort of music where you want to imagine the people playing it as titans, that’s a good thing. Casper Balslev directs.
