Some things are all about timing. Josh Scott released his debut solo
album as Aero Flynn in early March, and though the thing deserved
fireworks and champagne toasts, it quietly melted into the fray of
March’s madness. Still, anyone who took the time to excavate Aero Flynn‘s splendid and sparse experimental tracks would’ve quickly alighted on lead single “Dk/Pi,”
a skittering, krautrock journey. That journey is portrayed here through
the lens of a snowmobiler’s helmet, and though nothing devastating
happens, there is an ominous sense of danger lurking in the landscape.
Watch the snowy visuals created by Joe Baughman below, but more importantly, listen to Aero Flynn when you get a spare minute. It will not disappoint.
