Halflife - “Subtle” (Official Video)

The British actor and rapper Riz Ahmed was great in the 2014 movie Nightcrawler, in which he played Jake Gyllenhaal’s assistant. And he might’ve been even better on the Swet Shop Boys EP, which he made with Heems. He’s now half of Halflife, a new project with the dubstep producer Distance, and we posted their meditative single “Subtle” late last year. The new video for “Subtle” is a total mood piece, with landscape zooming by, seen from plane or car windows, as the face of an ex haunts everything. Ahmed directed the video with Farrah Drabu.
