The Rentals - “It’s Time To Come Home” (Official Video)

Last year, the ’90s alt-pop survivor and former Weezer bassist Matt Sharp convened a new lineup of his old project the Rentals, putting together the new album Lost In Alphaville. The band’s new video for the precise, mechanical album track “It’s Time To Come Home” casts Sharp in some sort of mad-scientist role. It’s built around the idea of time travel, and we get to see the much-older versions of the current Rentals lineup. Maybe they’re supposed to be loopers?
