In Franz Ferdinand’s strange, striking new video for the shiny, horn-laced “Stand On The Horizon,” we see the band playing in a dark and mysterious seaside resort. It turns out to be the sort of place where younger men dance stiffly and robotically with older women, with everyone lit as dramatically as possible. The song comes from Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, the album that the band released last year after a prolonged absence.
