The Scottish producer Rustie and the Detroit rapper Danny Brown have
worked together a few times before, but their frantic new collab “Attak”
is probably the dizziest, most intense, best thing they’ve ever done
together. In the song’s brand-new video, we see Brown rapping furiously
while increasingly distorted, mangled subtitles weave their way around
him. It’s a novel take on the idea of the lyric video, especially when
you consider that you can’t actually read most of the lyrics. The track
will show up on the great new Rustie album Green Language, and Peter Marsden directed the video.
