First single “Chlorine” expertly balances darkness and beauty, building from heavy shoegaze with dreamy vocals half-buried in the mix to a menacing guitar noise freakout. Similarly, the Jonny Look-directed video couches a nightmarish head-fuck of a boat trip in lovely, carefully composed cinematography.
