Old Hundred - “Casey” (Official Video)

Back in May we shared the excellent “I’ll Be There (When You Die)” from Columbus folk-rockers Old Hundred’s I Don’t Want To Die EP. The band is back with a new LP called Let In The Light, to be released at a pair of hometown shows this weekend, and it’s heralded by an animated video for lead single “Casey.” The song rumbles along ornately, using melancholy throwback pop to tell the tale of a tormented midnight drive in 1983. Director/animator Kyle Knapp depicts that journey with a striking color palette and distinct style. Like the band, he does beautiful work here that leaves a lot to the imagination.
