Next month, the fearsome Louisiana rapper Kevin Gates releases his new Luca Brasi 2 mixtape out into the world, and he’s already shared early tracks “Reasonable Suspicion,” “Crazy,” and the August Alsina collab “I Don’t Get Tired.” Now Gates has a video for another new song, the full-bodied drug-dealing anthem “Out The Mud.” Jerome D directed the clip, which gets a lot of atmosphere from Gates’ broken-down Baton Rouge hometown. Gates raps in an abandoned house, an apartment-building courtyard, and an actual swamp.
