In the world of this video, it seems like people can just be John Denver in the same way some people on Adult Swim’s excellent Children’s Hospital are just born clowns. So here, a lonely John Denver man (Jon Wurster) and John Denver lady (Aimee Mann) who spends her work days surfing John Denver dating sites find each other and fall in love. It’s completely insane, but also pretty sweet, while the song is just plain sweet.
