Deap Valley’s “Walk Of Shame” takes the titular trek and turns it
into a sort of triumphant anthem. What starts as a “walk of shame”
becomes a “walk of pride,” and it’s the latter Tyler Shields captures in
his music video. It makes sense that members Lindsey Troy and Julie
Edwards’ list of their favorite bands
includes Zep and the Stooges (they tellingly list Son House first); the
song is a sex-positive stomper and they sell it perfectly here.
