Destruction Unit – “The Holy Ghost” (Official Music Video)

Destruction Unit, the louder-than-hell Arizona psych-rock band, just made a video for “The Holy Ghost,” a mythic guitar freakout from their recent album Deep Trip. With its murky black-and-white cinematography, its out-of-focus blurriness, and its outdoor-campfire setting, the whole thing feels almost black-metal in tone. But the first thing you notice in the video is the drummer’s Brian Jonestown Massacre T-shirt, so rest assured it’s not trying that hard to be black metal.
