Into It. Over It. - “The Shaking Of Leaves” (Official Video)

Evan Weiss’ one-man project Into It. Over It. is a leading light in the emo revival, partly because he can bring real gravitas to his songs. “The Shaking Of The Leaves,” from last year’s Intersections, is about a friend who got murdered. Its new video is decidedly less heavy, though it has its own kind of weight. It’s an animated story about a very cute dog who has to run away from home, and it does a nice job earning its emotional climax. John Komar and Reza Iman directed the video, which follows last year’s “No Amount Of Sound” video.
