’80s joke-punk legends the Dead Milkmen reunited in 2008 and dropped a new album called The King In Yellow in 2011, and now they’re coming back again with a new one called Pretty Music For Pretty People. The title track is a piece of demented satirical circus music about an awards-show acceptance speech. Brian Siano
directed its video, and it’s more of a making-of document than anything
else, depicting the band recording the song all together in what looks
like a living room. But it’s worth watching, anyway, since it’s weirdly
inspirational to see these aging goofballs still knocking this stuff
out.
