One of my favorite albums of the young year is
Interrupt,
the shoegaze-inflected, ’90s alt-inspired turn from the always-morphing
Philly rock band Bleeding Rainbow. The public’s first taste of the
record was “So You Know,”
a midtempo number that clangs, clatters, and shines in especially
harmonic fashion. Now that song has a video by director Japhy Riddle
that involves some sort of love story, miniature facsimiles assembled
from old photos, a typewriter, and other mysterious elements to be
parsed.
