Experimental hip-hop/dub duo Lilacs & Champagne (Alex Hall and
Emil Amos of Grails) are putting out a new EP later this year, and have
just shared the video for the title cut. The video for “Shower Scene” is
just as cut’n'paste as the song itself, which sounds like a moldy old
hip-hop instrumental. Its grainy VHS aesthetic is reminiscent of their
old video for “Everywhere, Everyone,”
though this one is borderline NSFW (there’s no nudity, but the title of
the track should give you an idea of what footage they’re using).
