The large-sounding Brit-rock duo the Big Pink made a pretty impressive debut with their album A Brief History Of Love back in 2009, and they haven’t done much since. But the group has now announced the January release of the sophomore effort Future This, and first single “Stay Gold” already has a video from director Ollie Murray. (Presumably, that title is one for all you Outsiders heads out there.) The video itself has models and graffiti and boringly psychedelic kaleidoscope graphics, and it’s nothing special. But the song itself is a big churn with the same sort of gigantic festival mashing chorus that animated previous Big Pink singles “Velvet” and “Dominos.”
