Australian Britpop revivalists DMA’s have just shared a new video for “Lay Down,”
the lead single from their forthcoming debut album coming out next
year. It was directed by Tristan Jalleh, and features the trio (and a
bunch of replicas of themselves) engaging with a subtly disorienting
urban environment where there’s a lot of angles and ephemera that just
don’t fit right. There’s a lot of cool split screen work going on here
and, if you keep an eye out, a nice shoutout to The Craft as well.
