Earlier this summer, prominent British dance outfit Leftfield released Alternative Life Source, its first album since 1999’s Rhythm And Stealth.
The former duo was an influential force in electronic music and
headlined festivals for years. But now Leftfield is solely led by Neil
Barnes, who teamed up with a number of artists for the new release. One
of the collabs features fellow Brits Sleaford Mods — the record’s lead
single, “Head And Shoulders” — and now they’ve shared a video for the
track. Directed by Ewan Morris and Casey Raymond, it features a crazed
Pac-Man-like creature that roams the city and devours everything in
sight, including Sleaford Mods’ Jason Williamson. The animation style
changes throughout the video as the little yellow creature grows into
one ugly monster. It’s either a child nightmare or a teenage trip.
