We recently dubbed Tove Lo’s Queen Of The Clouds
the best pure pop album of 2014 so far, and “Talking Body” is one of
many reasons why. The song is as catchy as it is salacious — “If you
love me right, we fuck for life,” she sings oh-so-tunefully, one of
several eminently quotable lines here — and its sparkling, genre-defying
arrangement rides the playful-serious borderline in tandem with the
lyrics. In the video below, Tove Lo and her band demonstrate that
“Talking Body” sounds just as good live on stage.
