Height Keech - “Bring Your Soul” (Official Video)

Dan Keech is a longtime Baltimore DIY scene staple who’s been making personal, idiosyncratic rap records under the name Height since forever. Using the slightly tweaked name Height Keech, he released an album called Talk Singer earlier this year. And now he’s made a video for “Bring Your Soul,” a warm and pretty album track that features backing vocals from Ashley Alexander and Wye Oak’s Jenn Wasner. The song’s video, from director Justin Barnes and editor/cinematographer Tom Galang, is a single shot of Keech riding a flower-covered float through a snowy park while friends dance behind him. It practically radiates good nature.
