FIDLAR is back with a badass new song and video to go along with it. “40oz On Repeat” surfaced briefly back in April
and was quickly pulled offline, but it’s here gain in all its snotty
glory. The video has a lot going on — it opens on a cardboard jukebox,
where the L.A. punks share a machine with tracks from such varied acts
as Missy Elliot, Devo, Korn, and Suicidal Tendencies, and continues to
follow them around through a goofy, shoddily-constructed funhouse.
There’s a few dogs in the mix, a lot of playing in front of weird
backdrops, and the band dressed up in schoolgirl uniforms. Like the band
itself, it’s a whole lot of fun. The track will be included on the
band’s upcoming sophomore album, which is called Too and will be released on 9/4.
