This music video for Mercury award-winning rock band “The Klaxons” was shot in one day in the amazing White Desert in Egypt; it was done in collaboration with UK’s Partizan and Saam Farahmande as the Director.
A seven hour drive from Cairo takes you to the town of Farafra where the Band and Crew stayed for the shoot. It was an early morning start to get into the desert to get the magic hour lighting of sunrise. The day was long and hot with many different vertigo-, zoom- and circular shots to achieve the “otherworldly” effect the Director was after. The second magic hour of the day was on top of us and it meant the end of an awesome day of shoot.
