If you thought the Weeknd’s new album Kiss Land was misogynist, you had no idea. Abel Tesfaye’s new video for “Pretty,” an intense ballad from the LP, is a deeply NSFW and disturbing piece of work. It’s impressive, to be sure, but there’s a decent chance it’ll make you hate the guy. In the clip, Tesfaye goes drifting through Tokyo, looking for a particular lady (who gets very, very naked in the video). Things take some unexpected turns, and it all gets very messy.
