Spiritualized – “Little Girl”

Thus far, Spiritualized’s excellent new Sweet Heart Sweet Light album has yielded two videos. Jason Pierce hasn’t appeared in either of them, and both of them follow the harrowing stories of outsider types trying to scrape by on the fringes of society. “Hey Jane” had a transgender stripper, and now “Little Girl” focuses on a girl who escapes a shitty life in the former East Germany by executing badass motorcycle stunts and hanging out with terrifying European biker types. Director Vincent Haycock filmed the clip on location near Germany’s Polish border, and it features a whole lot of stunt-riders. The video is awesome and sad.
