Pure X - "Surface"

The ethereally dour and sultry “Surface,” one of many great dreamcasting tracks from TX outfit Pure X’s Acéphale debut LP, gets the video it deserves compliments of director and collaborator Malcolm Elijah. What this means for you is watching a clip with lights constantly peering through smoke, bodies strewn about in a partied-out stupor, and ladies in make-up breaking up the bacchanalia in order to blow powder into the already palpable haze. This video looks like Pure X sounds, which is great.
