»35mm« is a shortfilm about cinema itself. We picked 35 of our favorite movies and tried to simplify them as far as possible. The outcome is a 2 minute journey through the history of film. Take a close look and tell us if you've recognized them all!
35mm es un recorrido de tan sólo 2:17 minutos a través de 35 películas! Los autores intentaron simplificarlo al máximo, y con una excelente animación en After Effects nos dejan de tarea reconocer la mayoría de ellas.

This video was part of my Bachelor thesis at the University of Applied science and art Hannover. The Super Mario Bros. game, released on the Nintendo Entertainment System, is not longer bound to the television size and get interactive with a new environment. The emphasis of my thesis is on the matchmoving work. It is the process of matching CG elements into live-action footage.
French Roast is an animated short created by Fabrice Joubert. The animation is set circa 1960. An uptight and snobbish businessman makes the horrifying discovery that he has forgotten to bring his wallet. Mortified, he bides his time by ordering more coffee - to admit that he has no money is my far the worse option.
He turns away a rather hirsute and smelly homeless man who asks him for money, but finally, because of a more than curious turn of events, it is the homeless man who is unselfish enough to pay the businessman's bill thus saving him from embarrassment.
On a recent trip to Europe, a family of three generations (a Holocaust survivor, his daughter and his grandchildren) dance to Gloria Gaynor's pop song - 'I Will Survive' at concentration camps and memorials throughout Europe.
This clip was first edited with the help of my friend Pisithpong Siraphisit who runs Compeung Art Village, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
This dance is a tribute to the tenacity of the human spirit and a celebration of life.
Despite the systematic brutality and cruelty endured, we have still survived.
This is a stop motion music video we made for the song "Famous Last Words" by Deerhunter.

Info about the project:
About three months in the making from concept to final video. Shot on a Canon Rebel XS using Dragon Stop Motion Software. Over 1,400 stills were shot. Over 500 still images of Jesse were photographed, printed, then cut out one by one. Dozens of lyrics were drawn, colored and cutout. Many rolls of gaff tape were used. We averaged about 5 seconds of animation per night, while working day jobs. The electricity was done in After Effects, as well as some of the opening scene lighting.
