“Twisted Road” is the third video to be released from Neil Young And Crazy Horse’s forthcoming Psychedelic Pill double-LP, and it shares tonal similarities with the first two, “Walk Like A Giant” and “Ramada Inn“: It’s full of grainy, non-sequential images of a younger America. Beyond its broader themes — nostalgia, life on the road — the song is a tribute to Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, and the Grateful Dead, and the video contains footage of all those artists in their youth.
