Laura Marling has shared a video for “False Hope,” the spirited second single from her upcoming new record, Short Movie, which is her fifth album in seven years. It’s a straight-forward visual, featuring Marling and her band performing in the studio without much fanfare. But when you’re as magnetic of a performer as Marling is, sometimes that’s all you need. And it’s fun to see Marling rocking out on an electric guitar after so many years of staying primarily acoustic.
